Ninjatoes Papercraft
Hello there!

I saw on your website: http://gulavaw.tw/viewthread.php?tid=9279 a re-painted version of the papercraft "Going Merry" that I made several years ago: http://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/2004/08/06/one-piece-going-merry/

Although the person that made it didn't ask me permission to use my papercraft model, I usually don't mind people making re-paints of my models. But only if the papercraft model remains available for free for everybody else to download and build! But in this case, the download link is hidden for people that aren't a member of your forum... :o(

Also, there is a watermark logo of Gulavaw on the pictures, but there is no indication that it is a re-painted model from a Ninjatoes' papercraft model! :o(

Even the last picture, that was made by myself, is especially cut off at the bottom so that it doesn't show the original website URL anymore... :o(

Like I said, I don't usually mind people making re-paints of my papercraft models but of course there are some things that should be respected:

1) Most importantly, it should be made available for everybody that wants to download it, also for people that are not a member of your forum!!

Other people have made re-paints of some of my models too, but they have told me about it, didn't hide the fact that it was a re-paint of one of my paper models, and made it available for everybody else too.
They even asked me to host the files on my own papercraft webpage so people could download and build it, which I was happy to do so and would also be happy to do with the re-painted "Going Merry" if you'd want.
(For example some of my Star Trek models were re-painted by several different people: http://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/2 ... uttlecraft-chaffee/ )

2) It should be clear that the parts are re-painted from my original model at http://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/2004/08/06/one-piece-going-merry/ and not all traces of this should be removed to make it look as if it was their own design of course...

If those two conditions are met (1. made available for everybody, also for non-members of your forum and 2. made clear that it is a re-paint from my own original model) it would be okay with me.

I hope to hear a response from you soon about this!
